| 推薦信
Recommendation Letter

Dear Admissions Officer,
I am writing this
recommendation in support of Ms. Chieh-Yu Shih's application
to your Master's Program in Management of Health Policy
and Administration. I feel strongly that Ms. Shih is
a well-qualified candidate and will be an asset in your
school as she was in ours.
Ms. Shih was first
a student at our center and later because of her excellent
performance, was asked to work as a teaching assistant
from June 1998 until now. Her duties as a teaching assistant
include attending to teachers' requests in classrooms,
helping students' individual needs and speaking to her
classes everyday. Ms. Shih has out-performed our expectations.
She is a responsible person who prepares carefully ahead
of class everyday. We have never heard any complaints
from the teachers she works with.
Since 1998, Ms. Shih
has led 7 classes and worked with over 1000 students.
Being a teaching assistant can sometimes be a tiring
job, as one must constantly resolve every student's
questions and problems. The job can also get repetitive
and exhausting. Nonetheless, Ms. Shih works patiently
with each and every one of her students. Ms. Shih also
works well with her co-workers and is well liked by
her peers.
I find Ms. Shih's
excellent performance as a teaching assistant to be
a good indicator that she will excel in your program
and later in her career pursuit. Ms. Shih has demonstrated
leadership potential, attention to details, good public
speaking ability, organization skills and ability to
work in teams. These are all essential managerial qualities.
I recommend Ms. Shih to your program without hesitation.
Sincerely,
Emily Tsoung

To Whom It May Concern,
I am very happy to
recommend a fine student, Ms. Wen-Hao Lin to your esteemed
Master of Business Administration program. During her
four years at the National Taiwan University, she attended
my classes in Marketing and Consumer Behavior.
Over the years, I
have had the pleasure to meet and teach many students,
as I am professor at both National Taiwan University
and National Chengchi University, two fine universities
in Taiwan. Ms. Wen-Hao Lin has remained one of my favorite
students. As a result, when I ran into her requesting
for transcript at school, I volunteered to write her
recommendation letter.
Although Ms. Wen-Hao
Lin graduated several years ago, she has remained a
well-known person at the Department of Business Administration
at the National Taiwan University. Ms. Wen-Hao Lin is
remembered in my class as her project on the marketing
strategy of Converse and Travel Fox is used as an example
for my students. Moreover, Ms. Wen-Hao Lin initiated
a project to allow all male students, including the
ones who had not completed military duty as required
by Taiwanese government, the right to leave Taiwan on
short-term study tour visit when she was a member of
AIESEC. Her contribution has affected many students'
lives.
I have always known
Ms. Wen-Hao Lin would excel in whatever she chooses
to do. As a student, she was very mature, motivated
and driven. She was an excellent student and an over-achiever.
She was one of those rare students who are a pleasure
to teach. Ms. Wen-Hao Lin is gifted with outstanding
analytical and quantitative ability. She has the ability
to grasp concepts taught to her and develop her own
viewpoints, something I seldom see in Taiwanese students.
I believe some of her initiative and her strong belief
in her own ability to accomplish anything is due to
her diverse childhood background.
Based on Ms. Wen-Hao
Lin 's performance in school and at work, I believe
she will be a highly successful student at your school.
I support her application for admission without reservation,
and would appreciate any assistance you can offer her.
Sincerely,
Professor Chen-hu
Huang

Dear Sir/Madam,
I consider it a great
pleasure to recommend Ms. Chen Pin-Li for admission
to your school. Ms. Chen Pin-Li is presently applying
to your Master's in Business Administration program.
I was Ms. Chen's supervisor
at the Merchandise Division at ABC Taoyuan Store in
1997. Ms. Fan worked as my assistant for two months
before she was promoted to head her own department.
I was very impressed with Ms. Chen's drive and her ability
to learn. When Ms. Chen was my assistant, she did not
only assist me but she was able to initiate projects
and manage a team of employees. I was able to observe
her great managerial potential then.
Over the years, I
have stayed in close contact with Ms. Chen as we work
in the same company and have observed her growth both
professionally and personally. Ms. Chen has out-performed
our expectations and has been a tremendous asset to
the company. Ms. Chen has increased profitability of
her department by initiating new projects and cutting
down cost. In charge of her own department, Ms. Chen
has a stressful job, yet she has demonstrated her ability
to work under pressure. Ms. Chen also encourages individual
contribution from her subordinates. She is well liked
by her superiors, subordinates, and peers.
I have known about
Ms. Chen's intention to pursue a master's education
in business administration since she was working as
my assistant two years ago. I have supported her plan
as I feel with Ms. Chen's potential; she can benefit
greatly from the program.
I would like to give
Ms. Chen's application my wholehearted support and highest
recommendation. If I can be of any further assistance
in your evaluation of Ms. Chen, please feel free to
contact me.
Sincerely,
Tim Wang, General
Manager

Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing this
recommendation to support Ms. Tseng Pu-Yi's application
to your TESOL program.
I have known Ms. Tseng
for over 2 years. Ms. Tseng was first a student at our
center taking TOEFL and GRE preparation classes. Because
of her excellent performance, Ms Tseng was later asked
to work as a teaching assistant from 1997 until now.
Ms. Tseng stood out among many students, as she is an
eager learner and raised good questions. She works hard
on her language skills and has made improvement. I believe
she has the ability to succeed in graduate study.
Ms. Tseng has led
4 classes with 50, 85, 90 and 87 students, respective,
for a total of over 300 students. Her duties as a teaching
assistant include attending to teachers' requests in
classrooms, helping students' individual needs and speaking
to her classes everyday. Ms. Tseng has out-performed
our expectations. She is a responsible person who prepares
carefully ahead of class everyday. We have never heard
any complaints from the teachers she works with. Being
a teaching assistant can sometimes be a tiring job,
as one must constantly resolve every student's questions
and problems. The job can also get repetitive and exhausting.
Nonetheless, Ms. Tseng works patiently with each and
every one of her students.
I find Ms. Tseng's
excellent performance as a teaching assistant to be
a good indicator that she will excel in your TESOL program
and later in her career pursuit. Ms. Tseng has demonstrated
her passion for teaching, good public speaking skills,
eagerness to help students and ability to work in teams.
I believe these are all essential characteristics observed
in good English teachers. I strongly recommend Ms. Tseng
Pi-Yu to your program.
Sincerely,
Emily Tsoung
